The challenge
Hockey Punks Academy runs training programs and needed a website that did several jobs at once: explain the programs clearly, make schedules and training visible, and give the community a place to connect. The previous setup didn't bring these together, which made it harder for prospective members to understand what was on offer and act on it.
What we did
We built a platform on WordPress with custom development where the standard tools fell short, structured around the academy's day-to-day needs.
- Designed and built program and training pages that lay out the offering clearly
- Added custom functionality to surface schedules and training information
- Set up commerce capability so the academy can handle bookings and sales online
- Organised the site to support community engagement around the programs
The outcome
The academy now has a single home that explains its programs, shows what's happening, and lets members take action. Prospective participants can find and understand the training quickly, and the team has a platform that keeps pace with how the academy operates.
